Red merles are my least favourite Aussie colour, but there was just something about this little girl that made me hope for her to be a "keeper"... Even as a newborn she had the sweetest face and since she was born very flat and I almost despaired of ever getting her going I was hooked from the start! No flashy big white collar - just a splash of white on the crest of her neck (hence her name - short for Plain Jane) - but the kind of merle that I prefer without a lot of big patches. |

She was a very thoughtful puppy - you could almost see her working things out in her mind before doing them. And she's grown up to be quite the independent girl.... PJ can often be seen off doing her own thing rather than playing with the rest of the pack, but if I'm out with them she's my shadow! |

She's confident, smart, totally eager to please and loves to be with her people. She's nicely put together with decent angles front and rear, has good bone, moves well coming and going and has a beautiful head and expression. She could do with more neck (and a nice big white collar would have been great), could end up being a bit leggy, and her coat is a bit too curly, but they all have faults and she more than makes up for hers with her loving ways. She's a sweetheart, we love her and she's here to stay... She is the second of the kids to finish and picked up Breed wins over Specials and Group placings along the way to her title. |
