Alchera Anticipation ~ Sprite....

The smallest of the litter, but spunky and a real cutie, Sprite just seemed to fit her as a name...

She and brother Austin were like peas in a pod as little ones, and like brother Austin she has grown as a very together little "package" - no stretchy, leggy "uglies" for this girl!

She's going to end up at the low end of the standard in terms of size, but she has lovely bone and a very pretty head with nice dark eyes - and a fair bit of "attitude"...

Surveying the world @ 3 weeks old... And redecorating @ 4 weeks old...

She's wrapped in a coat that promises to be nice and straight and she has just enough white trim to keep her from being plain!

She has nice angles front and rear, moves well coming and going and has acceptable, but not flashy, side gait.

She has a lovely body to go with her pretty head, and she has all her teeth, but her bite's gone off, so she'll never be a "show girl".

But she's a wonderful companion...

8 weeks old and looking good... And she had such a cute face...

...she's a sweet and very affectionate little girl - a Velcro dog with the people she knows and quite outgoing like her mother - and she  isn't easily phased by new situations.

Athletic and typically "Aussie tough" she can rough house with the best of them - and then come in the house and be a perfect little lady.

And she's a "grinner"...

Giving her full attention... ...and just relaxing in the grass!
Sprite has been spayed and moved to her new home with Bob and Debbie in Burlington!

We couldn't be more pleased about the "forever" home she's gone to!  She's close enough to visit once in a while, loves the people she's living with, and couldn't be more loved by "her people".....

A few recent candid photos of Sprite...
Are you talking to me? Here I come... It's hot today!
Tracking a toad! What do you mean my side gait is only "acceptable"?
